When I published a recent article, ‘Florida, Let’s Divide This State’, I also quoted Dave Kooker’s Rule #3. Not realizing it, I created some inquisitive yahoo email responses, Hey Dave what are Dave Kooker’s rule #1 & #2 and how many rules do you have? Since I graduated from college 18 years ago, I have compiled a list of five time tested Dave Kooker rules from life’s lessons I learned. I took a few moments and compiled them for you and in the order that I learned them. I treat these rules as my third tablet (addendum) to the Ten Commandments, which I also abide. I admit that I tend to fall short on Commandment #3 when I am driving: ‘You shall not make wrongful use of the name of your God’.
Dave Kooker’s Rule #1: Great sex makes a lousy relationship last a lot longer.
Dave Kooker’s Rule #2: The one worried about cheating in a relationship is the guilty one. Also applies to any other moral wrongdoing.
Dave Kooker’s Law #3: Everyone is a Liberal until they have to pay for the Liberal/Socialism program(s) and/or have to live under the tyrannical rule(s) of Liberalism/Socialism.
Dave Kooker’s Rule #4: Never battle wits with an un-armed person.
Dave Kooker’s Rule #5: Never bring facts to an argument you just make everyone mad.
