It was inevitable that NASCAR was going to be the target of a racial and/or sexual discrimination lawsuit. NASCAR is a Motorsport very much dominated by males with an ancestry of pallor and a fan base with a demographic predominately Southern heritage middle-case individuals of pallor. We are fair game for these types of attacks by do-gooder folks on a quest of racial harmony and justice. NASCAR also had a second strike against them since we are living in the perceived era of man-made ‘Climate Change’, any sport proudly displaying unbridled V-8 horsepower squandering precious petroleum products and belching large amounts of C02 in the name of excitement is unpopular to our fellow Orwellian Liberals. There is actually a third strike against NASCAR. The cameras on the FOX network pan across the audience in the grandstands; everyone is happy, men have beer guts, the women are pretty, and children stuffing their little faces with burnt animal carcasses. We are supposed to be miserable victims by the forces of capital greed.
Mauricia Grant, an female African American, NASCAR official (technical inspector responsible for certifying cars) is suing NASCAR for 225 million dollars, alleging racial & sexual discrimination, sexual harassment and wrongful termination. The lawsuit was filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

From my perspective it is very difficult to believe that someone was willing to tolerate 23 specific incidents of alleged sexual harassment and 34 specific incidents of alleged racial and gender discrimination during the duration of her employment January 2005 thru October 2007 before she was terminated due to poor performance. Only after termination does this woman even decide legally pursue action. Why not while actively employed as a NASCAR employee? In this day in age of hyper racial sensitivity and ‘White Guilt’ just screaming the unsubstantiated word ‘Racism’ makes people hit the floor and cower. C’mon, 34 times and still no action from the NASCAR organization? That is a little too hard to believe. For Mauricia Grant’s sake I hope she does not hire Mike Nifong as her attorney.
Even before there is any determination of guilt or monetary settlement or not, the leaders of racial harmony i.e. NAACP, Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, Pastor Jeremiah Wright, and Father Michael Pfleger will demand continued retribution for this alleged of racial and/or sexual transgression(s). The Senate will call NASCAR hearings and demand NASCAR team owners to answer questions on Capitol Hill based on the serious accusation of the charges. The substance or truth need not to be answered.
To address the sexual discrimination, every racecar will have to have a pink bow painted on the hood of the car and half the drivers will be Federally mandated to be women. Pit crews could play cruel tricks on the female drivers and post ‘On Sale 50% Off’ signs on the side of the track walls to distract their attention. NASCAR officials will Red flag the race every 100 miles to allow the women drivers to take a potty break and touch up their makeup. The race fans in the stands may also appreciate the brief intermission from the consumption of Busch & Budweiser beer in the stands. No one will miss the big crash when it happens.
To address the racial discrimination, every pit-crew will be Federally mandated to contain a percentage non-pallor members. Inter city youth would be offered an opportunity to escape grasp of government funded enabled apathy. Inter city youth able to strip wheels off cars in 6 seconds will replace the existing pit crew members who can only do it in 8 seconds with millions of dollars of hi-tech gear. This is a huge advantage since most races are won by time gained in the pits. Drivers like Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch who like to mangle their cars on the race track could also see a new advantage. Inter city youth could carjack fellow competitor’s cars on the pit row and within 20 seconds re-spray & re-tag the race car allowing Tony Stewart or Kyle Busch to quickly return to the race track before the driver loses a lap.
Maybe there will be benefits from this NASCAR lawsuit. Be aware NHL (National Hockey League) my prediction is that you guys are next.
